Third party lab testing for our current batch of Chlorella powder and tablets

Above is the in-house Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for our current batch of PlantPills Chlorella Powder and Tablets, batch number TA-AD-01.

This is dated as 24th April 2020, and shows protein as 60.23%, chlorophyll as 2.97% and C.G.F. (chlorella growth factor) as 15.12%.

This batch has a use-by date of April 2023.

Above is the third party laboratory test report for heavy metals for our current batch of PlantPills Chlorella Powder and Tablets, batch number TA-AD-01.

This is dated as 7th July 2020. Heavy metals are tested by ICP, and show Lead (Pb) as 0.156 ppm, Arsenic (As) as 0.043 ppm, Cadmium (Cd) as 0.007 ppm, and Mercury (Hg) as not detected.

This batch has a use-by date of April 2023.

Above is the Microbial Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for our current batch of PlantPills Chlorella Powder and Tablets, batch number TA-AD-01, as tested by the third party laboratory.

This is dated as 8th July 2020, and shows the total plate count (TPC - intended to indicate the level of microorganism in a product) as not detected at a detectable minimum of 10 cfu/gm (colony forming units per gram). Yeast, Mold and Coliforms are also not detected, and E. coli, pseudomonas, Staphylococcus aureus, salmonella and shigella are all confirmed as absent.

This batch has a use-by date of April 2023.

The above certifications are detailed third-party laboratory testing completed on our chlorella on an occasional basis.
These complement the in-house testing for protein, ash, moisture, total plate count (TPC), E. Coli, chlorophyll, pheophorbide and chlorella growth factor (CGF) completed for every batch.
This is in addition to heavy metals testing and microbiological testing completed for every batch by third-party laboratories.

This kind of detailed analysis is useful for monitoring the content of hundreds of elements present within our chlorella. As the quality and standard of our chlorella is very stable, exact amounts vary slightly, but remain similar from batch to batch. For these reasons, this detailed analysis is completed once every few years.
