> I’ve heard that Pterostilbene is superior to resveratrol. Why do you use resveratrol rather than pterostilbene?

The issue with Pterostilbene is that it is not well studied yet, and one study resulted in possible adverse effects in humans.
It is not generally regarded as safe (GRAS) by the FDA in USA.

We keep an eye on the literature, but it is not something that we feel is studied enough yet.

Pterostilbene is a derivative of Resveratrol. [Resveratrol](https://www.plantpills.co.uk/resveratrol) is GRAS by the FDA and well studied at this point.
